From The Artist:
I was born
with the gift of creativity. For as long as I can remember, art has been
my passion, my outlet. From painting to photography, art is my life.
My parents have been a huge influence, and inspiration to me, each of them
instilling their creativity in me. My mother is the one who first taught
me how to make jewelry and it has given me the most rewarding outlet in which to
express myself. I remember starting out by fiddling around with her beads
when I was young, trying to create pieces as beautiful as hers.
One day I discovered Swarovski Crystals, and from that moment, my imagination
ran wild. With each new color, or bead that I find, along come endless ideas
for new designs and styles.
The idea of creating 'custom bridal jewelry' just came to me, as anything that
is 'meant to be' does. My first thought was to have my jewelry available
through bridal salons. However, by doing this, I would be sacrificing my goal
of being able to create custom work. My natural solution to this obstacle was
to work directly with the brides themselves, thus enabling me to also get a feel
for each individual, as well as allowing them to personally view my jewelry, and
express their ideas too. This way, each bride is able to see the wide array of
styles, as well as colors available, and also it also gives me a way to make the
whole experience more comfortable and personable for each bride.
I absolutely love working in the wedding industry-each experience is unique and
every bride wants a way to express her own personal style. To be able to meld
this industry with my life passion-jewelry-is very fulfilling and I am very
fortunate indeed. I am also grateful to be able to do what I love, and am even
more thankful that my work is able to fulfill the dreams of others. For every
bride wants her day to be unique, special and memorable forever. Kaya Jewelry
Design is there to help make those dreams come true.
Unique…Special…Forever…
